For many girls, buying a dress for the Prom or Homecoming is so far out of reach it would take a Fairy
Godmother to make it happen. Thats where we step in and make their dreams come true!
The Fairy Godmother Foundation is a non-profit community service organization. We help underprivileged
High School girls attend their Prom, Homecoming or any special evening in style, surround them with
positive role models and encourage future success. While the girls focus on the dress, we focus on building
self esteem.
We also provide dresses and all the means for women to attend special events in their lives as well. High
School Reunions, Special night on the town, we even have wedding gowns and accessories for the most
important day of a girls life!

About Us
I started this Foundation in March of 2006. It all started when a friend of mine couldn't afford to buy a dress for
her daughter for Prom. I went on a community website and posted a wanted ad looking for a dress for her. I
received an overwhelming response of people wanting to donate their old formal dress' and accessories to help
this girl make it to her Prom. Not knowing the young ladies taste, I drove all around town picking up all sorts of
dresses, shoes and accessories. I ended up with almost 20 dresses. Before I knew it, the word of mouth had
spread, the girls in the local High Schools began calling for dresses, so I began advertising on local free websites
that I had dresses, shoes and accessories for any girl in need. Before I knew it people were bringing me dresses,
shoes and accessories and I was out of room.... I had outgrown this spare bedroom I started in, I counted my
dresses and I had over 100 dresses! It grew so fast!! I never dreamed there would be such a need! My husband and
I sat down and made a plan, we decided to remodel our guest house in our backyard into The Cinderella Palace. It
took us a few months to complete but sure was worth the hard work! Its really turned out to be a great place for
the girls to come and shop for everything they need for their special night. We now have over 500 gowns, shoes
and all the accessories a girl would ever need!

We would like the opportunity to give this service to any and all girls who would like to save money, have fun and give back to the community. Keri's Fairy Godmother Foundation is a Christian based program that teaches good values and standards. We believe that a community is all about helping each other and giving every individual a feeling of self-worth and dignity. |
